TTS inspection report example: anonymized real extracts and reading guide
Read publicly available anonymized real report extracts to see how sampling, defect counts, special checks and photographs are recorded. This page presents two report pages for a textile product and explains the additional information needed to interpret them.
Updated: 2026-10-09What are these public extracts?
Both images come from a publicly available anonymized real TTS report example: pages 3 and 6 of 29. Their headers show the public example identifier TTS-REPORT-SAMPLE and date field Jul. 02, 2026. Page 6 depicts a green textile robe under the heading SAMPLE TEXTILE PRODUCT.
These are anonymized partial pages. The example identifier and displayed date field support reading the public example; this page provides neither a complete customer report nor customer identity. They show the contents of these extracts and do not establish results for every product, assignment or the company as a whole.
Page 3: sampling and workmanship defects
The visible workmanship block records Level II, Single / Normal and a sample size of 200. Critical defects are not allowed; the major and minor AQL fields show 2.5 and 4.0. Total Found is 0 critical, 3 major and 7 minor; Accept is 0, 10 and 14. The block shows Passed. This describes the recorded workmanship block under its displayed plan, not the full report conclusion or a universal sampling requirement.
| Visible defect description | Major count | Minor count |
|---|---|---|
| Hook yarn | 2 | 0 |
| Open seam | 1 | 0 |
| Untrimmed thread ends | 0 | 6 |
| Dirty mark | 0 | 1 |
Page 3: special check fields
The SPECIAL TEST block lists barcode scan, carton drop, unit dimensions and weight, rub and tape, seam strength and odor checks. Rows contain sample size, method or acceptance requirement, findings and result fields. The dimensions and weight row refers to table G-1, which is outside these extracts; the full report is needed to review that data. The visible rows show Passed.

Page 6: relating photographs to checks
The image captions are product overall view, workmanship detail, dimension measurement, fabric texture, weight check and product detail. They show the green textile robe, a measuring tape and scale records. Photos help identify the object and activity. Interpreting dimensional or weight conformity also requires specifications, tolerances, samples and complete measurement results.

What else should a buyer check in a project report?
- Match the order, factory, model, lot, quantity, date and specification revision to the intended shipment.
- Review the full sampling plan, defect classes, acceptance numbers, omitted checks and site limits. The example AQLs and sample size do not apply to every project.
- Trace important findings, measurements and test conclusions to data, methods, samples and corresponding photographs.
- Review the complete result, human review and delivery version, then record open items and the authorized follow-up decision.
