What AQL does

An AQL plan sets the sample size and the accept/reject numbers for each defect class.

Three common mistakes

AQL 2.5 is not permission for 2.5% defective goods; defect classes use different AQLs; sampling is not 100% inspection.

Set it correctly

Combine safety, client tolerance, history and order risk, then confirm critical, major and minor rules before inspection.
